He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Ree Gray; his son Don Harlin Gray, Jr.; and his son-in-law Michael Thornton. He is survived by: his children, Catherine Huff (Robert), Janet Thornton and Beverly Solis (Zeferino); his grandchildren, Kimberly Vaughn (Mike), Kevin Huff (Lori), Anita Davis, Matthew Tillery (Deena), Shane Thornton (Tori) and Alecia Solis; and his sister-in-law Sally Nichols. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Seman Baptist Church (11380 Grier Rd, Wetumpka, AL 36092). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
