He was predeceased by: his mother Marylin Grace Stough; his wife Angela Virginia Evans Threadgill; his son Donald Glenn Threadgill, Jr.; and his parents-in-law, Redo Evans and Ocie Evans.

He is survived by: his daughters, Jenny Davis (Barry) and Ashley O'Ferrell (Daniel); his brother George Threadgill; his grandchildren, Will Thrasher (Hanna), Shannon Davis, Chase Davis, Edy Williams, Nixon Williams and Mac O'Ferrell; his great grandchildren, Damien Thrasher and Finn Thrasher; and his pet Buddy. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
