He was predeceased by: his parents, Reedie Luther and Annie Hood Howard; and his wife Claudene W. Howard. He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Boatfield, Lisa Adair (Donald) and Leslie Stephenson (Gordon); his grandchildren, Brittany Arledge (Matt), Donald Adair (Whitney), Elizabeth Laduron, Ben Stephenson and Beth Stephenson; and his great grandchildren, Kaelyn, Madelyn Arledge, Jaxon Laduron and Lainey Adair. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
