He is survived by: his wife Sylvia; his stepdaughter Jennifer Chandler; his grandchildren, Skyler and Sage Chandler; his sons, Doak Walker (Laurie) of Ozark, AL and Tony Walker (Melissa) of Daphne, AL; and his brother Billy Walker (Kay) of Fort Walton Beach, FL. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Gassett Funeral Home (204 E Charles Ave, Wetumpka, AL 36092). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Bethlehem East Baptist Cemetery (7561 Upper River Rd, Tallassee, AL 36078).
