She was predeceased by : her parents, Arnette T. Morrison and Sara Redmon Wall Morrison; her grandchildren, Meagan Poitevint and Preston J. Johnston; and her brother Ray Morrison.

She is survived by : her husband Roger Dean Johnston; her sons, Roger Dean Johnston, Jr. (Terri) and Wendell Derek Johnston (Julie); her brother Robert "Buddy" Morrison (Jane); and her great grandchild Loxley Poitevint.
