He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Owens and Ruth Owens; and his siblings, Goldie Fike (Tommie), Sue Grier, Paul Owens (Pat), Barney Owens, William Owens, Thomas Owens, Larry Owens and David Owens.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Beth Owens; his brothers, James Owens and Gene Owens (Lori); his children, Randy Jones, Jr. (Amber), Stephanie Bowden (Cory), Thomas Owens (Maria) and Elizabeth Navarre (Pete); his grandchildren, Aaron, Rylee, Bryson, Ainsley, Cory (Xzandria), Caylee, Colin, Dylan, Zach, Easton, Kendall, Kaylee and Klay; Brandi, Holli and Venita. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
