He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Gray and Myrtice Strength Gray; his children, Farren Douglas and Lori Dawn; his granddaughter Jodi Cauthen; and his siblings, Bobby Gray, Nita Bell and Ann McKenzie.
He is survived by: his wife Juanda Berry Gray; his daughters, Carmen Lanier (Mike) and Tammie Silas (David); his grandchildren, Hannah Cox, Holli Gonzalez (Manny), Jake Lanier (Sarah) and Haley Cauthen (Sarrita); his great grandchildren, Matthew, Chloe, Cooper, Cason, Caylin, Kinsley, Kenna, Baker and Riggins; and his caregivers, Alisha, Emily, Jessica, Thelma and Sheila.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Gassett Funeral Home (204 E Charles Ave, Wetumpka, AL 36092). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Brookside Memorial Gardens.
