He is also survived by 3 grandchildren.

Monk was carefree, always had solutions, funny, he was talented more so, than he would believe or give himself credit for. He shared lots of laughs and had both a tough & sensitive side to him. He loved his family, his kids, mom & dad. His kids were his prized possessions! when he talk about them joy always overcame him! He will forever be remembered.”
