She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Watson Elrod; her parents, Pearl Walton Green and Pharis Braxton Walton; her brothers, Bobbie Joe Walton and Roland Jasper Walton; her aunts, Hazel Marie Parker and French Stillwell; her nephew Donald Roland Walton; and her great grandchild Adam Wayne Elrod.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Elrod Irwin (Bruce) and Michael Wade Elrod (Julie); her grandchildren, Cameron Irwin Sanford (John), Catherine Irwin Thomas (Taylor), Jonathan Michael Elrod (Courtney) and Parker Westbrook Elrod; her great grandchildren, Hazel Jane Sanford, Smith Watson Sanford, Walton Olivia Thomas, Taylor Watson Thomas (Watts), Avery Michael Elrod and Aiden Bradley Elrod; her sibling's children, Carol Walton Poole (Jimmy), Diane Green Walton and Gregory Shane Walton (Katherine); and her sister-in-law Elaine Glass Walton.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gassett Funeral Home (204 E Charles Ave, Wetumpka, AL 36092). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gassett Funeral Home Chapel (204 E Charles Ave, Wetumpka, AL 36092).
