With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Philip Jankay of Wetumpka, Alabama, who passed away on November 22, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his former life partner Georgina Jankay; his parents, Joseph Jankay and Eleanor Jankay; and his brother Joseph Jankay. He is survived by : his wife Mary Jankay; his children, Donna Kerstis (Robert), Marina Jankay-Blankenship (Scott), Chris Jankay (Amanda), Joey Cobble (Jennifer), Doug Cobble (Pam) and Julie Wilson (Greg); his grandchildren, Ty, Nelson, Tiffy, Lance, Christopher, Lizzie, Ethan, J. R., Chuck and Nelda; his great grandchild Noah; and his sisters, Andrea Busa and Denise Rodriguez (Gil). He is also survived by many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, and loving friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Adullam House or the Elmore County Humane Society.

“I am so very saddened upon learning that my friend, Philip, has passed away. We worked together in England when we were both in the USAF. He was absolutely superb at his job and profession and we remained in touch periodically since we both retired.
