He is survived by: his children, Brandon Thornal (Jennifer) and Melissa Duncan (Christopher); his grandchildren, Hayley Thornal, Brantley Duncan, Addylan Duncan, Kaydance Duncan, Kamdyn Duncan, Railyn Duncan, Carson Thornal, Jaxson Thornal and Aubree Kate Thornal; his great grandchild Anniston DeShetler; his siblings, Diane Sullivan and Michael Thornal; his niece Terri Rich; his nephew Phillip Dale Sullivan; and his close friends, Patricia Messer, Matthew Messer and Ewell Messer.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gassett Funeral Home Chapel (204 E Charles Ave, Wetumpka, AL 36092).
