He is survived by: his wife Susan Barnes Tompkins; his daughters, Leigh Revis (Rob) and Stephanie Lee (Haagen); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Miller (Jansen), Maggie Revis and Jack Revis; and his siblings, Chris Tompkins III, Tommy Tompkins, Andy Tompkins and Julie Hadley.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the First Baptist Wetumpka Alabama building fund.
