He is survived by: his wife Shelby Jean Davis Varner; his daughters, Joanne Lucas (Eddie), Diane Arant (Lee), Vicki Mullino (Ray), Jennifer Colquitt (Lee) and Stephanie Varner; and his siblings, John Varner (Duretta) and Sue Martin (Ronald). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
