He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl King and Omery King (Janette King); his sisters, Bertie Mae Adams, Arlene Robertson and Pauline Dickson; and his sons, Harvey and John King.

He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth King; his children, Joey King, Jeffery Potts (Alicia Potts) and Angela Sigler (Chris Sigler); his daughter-in-law Pamela King; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Trevor King, Hunter Potts, Brittany and Elijah Sigler. He is also survived by other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
