He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Deaton and Dorothy McAdams Deaton; and his sister Cynthia Rachel. He is survived by: his wife Ramona Rigby Deaton; his children, Michael Deaton Jr. (Dione), Sabrina Northcutt (Michael) and Joshua Deaton; his grandchildren, Daniel Deaton, Reagan Deaton, Madison Northcutt, Matthew Northcutt, Tristan Deaton, Brayden Deaton and Cohen Deaton (Breighanna); and his great grandchild Samson Deaton.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Valhalla Funeral Home (8730 Sims Rd, Eight Mile, AL 36613). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Valhalla Chapel (8730 Sims Rd, Eight Mile, AL 36613). A burial will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at the Valhalla Memorial Gardens (8730 Sims Rd, Eight Mile, AL 36613).
