It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nancy Holton Baker of Wilmer, Alabama, born in Lake City, Florida, who passed away on August 12, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William H. Holton and Corraine Holton; and her siblings, Minnie Starling (Gerald), Marvin Lee Holton and Rhonda H. Harvey.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Baker Williams (Jeff) of Wilmer, Emmette Franklin Baker III (Chykeetra) of Mobile, Thomas Wayne Baker (Alison) of Bryceville and John Harvey (Melinda) of Wilmer, Alabama; and her siblings, Harley Holton (Stormy), Barbara Cox (Buddy) of Taylor and Linda Daniels (Larry) of Macdenny. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gospel Lighthouse Assembly of God (8840 Howells Ferry Rd, Semmes, AL 36575). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
