She was predeceased by: her parents, T. E. Edwards and Margaret Edwards; her brother Eddie Wayne Edwards; and her son Christopher Maxton Dupree. She is survived by: her husband Roger Vanderslice; her daughters, Sharon D. Shaul and Elizabeth Shoemaker; her stepchildren, Roger Dale Vanderslice and Brandi Jackson; and her siblings, Robert J. Edwards and Pamela Edwards Brooker. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren; her 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Antioch Baptist Church (2870 Hwy 61, Columbiana, AL 35051). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
