With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bonnie Lou Ganey (Winfield, Alabama), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 3, 2025 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Edward Ganey; her son Pete Ganey; her parents, James E. Bryant and Mary Erdeal Bryant; and her sisters, Mary Joe Dwyer, Pat Buck and Jackie Bryant.
She is survived by: her son Tim Ganey (Shirl); her grandchildren, Zak Ganey (Amber), Tamra Badgett (Ross), Jessica Boozer (Steven) and Angela Reeder (Dennis); her great grandchildren, Ruger, Maggie, Jonah, Gane and Charlie; and her daughter-in-law Joyce Ganey. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel (981 AL-253, Winfield, AL 35594). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at the Union Chapel Cemetery.
