He was predeceased by: his parents, Drew Benny Sargent and Linda Poston. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Sargent; his children, Christina Sargent (Hunter), Paige Sargent and Payton Sargent (Maci); his stepson Justin Armstrong; his grandchildren, Brooks (Kaidence), Marley, Emmett, Oaklee, Preslee Jo, Naomi, Isla and Niklaus; his siblings, Carla Sturdivant (Steve), Jennifer Trotter (Jeremy) and Benny Sargent; his sister-in-law Pam Cooper (Gilbert Kimbrell); and his pet Bebe. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel (981 AL-253, Winfield, AL 35594). The lying in state will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Eldridge Church of Christ (54104 AL-13, Eldridge, AL 35554). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at the Kelley Cemetery.
