He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Curtis Wilson Posey and Mary Rose Owsley Posey; his wife Debby of Winfield; his son Nicholas (Stacie); his grandson Asher; his siblings, Betty McIntosh (Bill) of Bossier City and C. W. Posey II (Hilda); and his mother-in-law Elease. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Winfield First Baptist Church Children's Church Building Fund.
