We are sad to announce that, on January 11, 2023, at the age of 83, Janie E. Tyra of Winfield, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luke Rozelle and Millie Nails Rozelle; her husband James Thomas Tyra; her daughter Elizabeth Tyra Dill; and her sisters, Clorene Terrell, Fannie Spates Gant and Willie Ann McCollum.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Marie Tyra of Winfield, Karen Suhar (David) of Winfield and Carolyn Rodgers (Floyd) of Huntsville. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
