He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Morris and Anna Cecelia Jarek Thompson; his stepfather Leon Thompson Sr.; and his brothers, Leon Thompson Jr. and Billy Morris.
He is survived by: his wife Marcella Morris; his son Jason Morris; his granddaughter Emily Morris; his siblings, Margie Pierce (Joe), Christine Collins and Robert Thompson (Becky); and his sister-in-law Kathy Morris. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel (981 AL-253, Winfield, AL 35594). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
