He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester R. Smith and Flora Howell Smith; his grandson Grady Smith; and his siblings, Ann Crews and Jimmy R. Smith.
He is survived by: his sons, Jason Smith (Heather) and Jonathan Smith; his grandchildren, Alex Smith (Hanna Foster), Dylan Smith, Jack Smith, Georgia Smith, Karson Clowers (Ariana) and McCain Clowers; and his brother Jerry Lamar Smith. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, church family and other relatives and friends.
