He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Miles Whitley of Fayette; his wife Mary Whitley; his son Wade Whitley (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Brandon and Holly Whitley; his siblings, Debbie Tripp (Wayne) of Alabaster and Rickey Whitley of Homewood; his parents-in-law, Eugene and Lucille Prescott of Winfield; and his siblings-in-law, Randy and Linda May of Winfield. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Harmony Grove Baptist Church (15380 County Road 21 N, Winfield, AL 35594). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at the Adjoining Cemetery.
