With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Earl Gray of Winfield, Alabama, who passed away on May 31, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, William shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid William farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carlos "Willie" and Dessie Mae Gillum Gray. He is survived by: his wife Gail Mayfield Gray; his daughter Gina Gray Vanderpool (Ed); his stepson Jonathan Gray (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Carl Gray (Mackensley), Seirra Gray (Justin), Kaleb Watts (Haley) and Courtney Jarrett (Dillon); his siblings, Doris Gray, Walter Gray (Marie) and Charelie Gray; and his close friend Jean Henderson.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the White Springs Methodist Church (11701 Co Rd 49, Winfield, AL 35594).
