Connie Huey Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Connie Huey of Woodland, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 10, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Davis Huey and Doris Lee Perry Huey; and her brothers, Charles Huey and Tony Huey. She is survived by: her children, Amy Calhoun (Marsha Mammenga) of Woodland and Ryan Calhoun (Mandi) of Woodland; her grandchildren, Taylor Calhoun and Amelia Calhoun; and her sisters, Janet McManus (Kenneth) of Woodland and Sharon Smith (Ronnie) of Roanoke. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Benefield Funeral Home (17624 US-431, Wedowee, AL 36278). A memorial service was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Benefield Funeral Chapel (17624 US-431, Wedowee, AL 36278).
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society at P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
