Garry leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Garry’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Wilson Young and Mozelle Young; and his sister Mary Jo Garrett. He is survived by: his wife Rita Fay White Young; his niece Melissa Swanner; and his nephew Mark Garrett (Stacey).
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel (1340 N Main St, Arab, AL 35016). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
