With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Beverly Jo Armstrong Harwell of York, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 22, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Scott Armstrong and Katie Mae Bridges Armstrong; her husbands, George Ronald Harwell and Ernest W. Beard, Jr.; her grandchildren, Harwell Aderholt and Pearson Aderholt; and her brother-in-law Jimmy Harwell.
She is survived by: her children, Kim H. Smith (Jacky) of York, Ronnie J. Harwell (Lynda) of York, Russ Harwell (Jo) of Fairhope, Jay Harwell (Sharon) of Lauderdale and David Aderholt (Jenn) of Cuba; her siblings, Scott Armstrong (Carole) of Montgomery and Shirley Ann Harwell of York; her grandchildren, Jason Smith, Leah Ross (Adam), Grear Harwell (Hannah), Wes Harwell (Suzanne), Young Harwell (Jordan), Kayla Shirley (Barett), Key Harwell, Tyler Moore (Kim), Bridges Harwell, Barrett Harwell, Maggie Mae Aderholt and Allen Smith (Jaysa); and her great grandchildren, Emma Ross, Ann Ross, Libby Ross, Hollis Harwell, Rebel Harwell, Louden Harwell, Brecken Case, Caysen Harwell, Hopson Shirley, Josie Mae Harwell, Taylor Smith, Jackson Smith, Bennett Smith and Camryn Smith. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
