She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Odell Wright and Waweaise Luanell Perry Wright; her husband Tommie Joe Brooks; and her children, Stephanie Dawn Brooks and Tommie Joe Brooks, II.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Landon Cole Brooks, Madison Dawn Brooks, Aivley Paige Brooks and Blakeleigh Danielle Brooks; and her siblings, Patsy Luanell Wright Conquest, Edna Odell Wright Bedwell, Dolly Faye Wright Deloach, Elbert Daniel Wright and Ronald David Wright. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members.
