We announce the death of Pansy Gail Long of York, Alabama, who passed away on September 1, 2026, at the age of 68. Pansy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parent Evelyn Hailey; her father-in-law Kenneth Long; and her sister Sandy Lee. She is survived by: her husband Glenn Long; her children, Bob Long (Nicole) and Hailey Frith (Hunter); her grandchildren, Juliana Abston, Avery Long, Britt Long and Madison Frith; her sister Patsy Whitcomb (Rodney); her mother-in-law Martha Long; and her brother-in-law Johnny Lee. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bumpers Funeral Home - York (505 4th Ave, York, AL 36925). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
