Melvalene leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Melvalene’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Melvalene will carry forward her memory in their hearts.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Millard Birdwell and Verner Lee Pilkington Birdwell; and her sister Melva Gene Gullett. She is survived by: her son Don Cordell Robinson of Colorado; and her siblings, Dale Birdwell (Janie) of Riverview, Judy Gullett of Hattieville and Nadine "Hoby" Simmons (Harold) of Ada Valley, Arkansas. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Harris Funeral Home Chapel (1325 N Oak St, Morrilton, AR 72110). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Ada Valley Community Church.
