He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Alonso Poyner Sr. and Etta Rowland Poyner; and his siblings, James Carol Poyner and Virginia Mae Poyner. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Poyner; his sons, David Poyner (Becky) and Derek Poyner (Jaci); his sister Peggy Harrison; and his grandchildren, Jesse Poyner, Zachary Poyner and Kaitlyn Poyner.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ashby Funeral Home (108 W Narroway St, Benton, AR 72015). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ashby Funeral Home Chapel (108 W Narroway St, Benton, AR 72015). A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Arkansas Veteran Cemetery (1501 W Maryland Ave, North Little Rock, AR 72120).
