She was predeceased by: her parents, Deward Kelton and Mildred Kelton; and her husband Henry Clay "Hank" Butner. She is survived by: her sister Deborah "Debbie" Kelton Doremus (Terrel); her children, Shari Nelane "Lanie" Butner Hess of Little Rock, Roger Duane Butner (Chemaine) of Baton Rouge and Maria Katherine Butner Bean of Little Rock; and her grandchildren, Charlie Hess and Shepard Butner.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith Little Rock Funeral Home (8801 Knoedl Ct, Little Rock, AR 72205). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery (1501 W Maryland Ave, North Little Rock, AR 72120).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Children's Protection Center or Arkansas Heart Hospital, in gratitude for the care she received.
