She is survived by: her husband Gene Paul Reed; her daughters, Ginger Hefner of Fayetteville and Laura Reed Pappenfort of Lenexa, Kansas; her grandchildren, Logan Pappenfort, Skylar Pappenfort, Hannah Hefner and Matthew Hefner; her great grandchildren, Thea Pappenfort and Jane Hefner; her brother Kem McBride; her nephew Alston McBride III; and her niece Patty Eades.
