He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Gentry and Augusta Gentry; and his siblings, Nita Gentry Smith, Darrell Lee Gentry and Clyde Gentry.

He is survived by: his wife Diana; his sons, Mike Gentry (Teresa) of Blevins, AR and Steven Gentry of Cheyenne, WY; his brother Ron Gentry (Sherri) of Van Buren; his sister-in-law Diane Gentry of Hooks, TX; his grandchildren, Meghan, Tyler, Bailey and River Gentry; and his great grandchild Chloe Cobb.
