It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jeffrey Ray Betts of Alma, Arkansas, who passed away on July 15, 2021, at the age of 61, the son of the late Clovis and Mary Tippy Betts leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Suzan Betts; his children, Donald Butler (Wendy) of Franklin, Cory Butler (Leann) of Dalton, GA., Jessica Butler of Dalton, GA., Michael Betts (Sandy) of Cleveland, TN., Matthew Betts (Jessica) of Nelsonville, Kerry Betts (Jessica) of Boulder City, NV and Cody Betts of Dalton, GA.; and his siblings, Clinton Betts (Tina) of McArthur, Gerald Betts of McArthur, Barry Betts of McArthur, Rita Pridemore (Larry) of Summerfield, Peggy Betts of Nelsonville and Connie Hogue of Millfield, OH. He was also cherished by twenty grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

“My name is Christy Hollan. I got to know Pastor Jeff at Bekaert. I had the pleasure of meeting his lovely wife a few times as well. On the day I did my training, Jeff drove by in his Davis truck, and everyone told me he was the nicest man in the world. When I got to meet him, I agreed! He was always waiting at the gate when I got there, and we would talk for a bit. He prayed for me and I prayed for him. I know he loved God and his family and his church! I miss him!
