Though Jerldeen may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Jerldeen leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Essman; her daughter Teresa Grimmett; and her siblings, Freda Lauwers and Johnny Graham. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Fowler (Tony) of Alma, Troy Fittin of Lowell and Donald Fittin (Cindy) of Van Buren; her son-in-law Mickey Grimmett; her nieces, Terrina Lawson and Carrie Hattabaugh; and her great-niece Sasha Lawson. She is also survived by five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ocker Memorial Chapel (700 Jefferson St, Van Buren, AR 72956). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Apostolic Faith Church (11 Sallisaw, Oklahoma, OK).
