She was predeceased by: her husband Clisdol Charles Ruffin; her parents, Enos Marion and Ruth Ayres (Canada); and her siblings, Joquetta Sanders, Tressie Pennington and Marion John Ayers.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rhonda McBride (Robert) of Russellville, Karon Ruffin of Van Buren and Connie Armer (Alan) of Natural Dam; and her siblings, Oowalah Henderson of Tallahassee, Alabama and Jimmy Ayers (Sarah) of Jackson Gap, Alabama. She is also survived by three grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
