The passing of Myra Jean Heyer of Alma, Arkansas occurred on October 5, 2026. Myra, born on November 23, 1940, shared life with family, friends, and community. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Darrell Heyer; her daughter Jamie; her parents, Jenny Woodruff and Dowell Woodruff; and her grandparents, Flossie and Silas Morse.

She is survived by: her daughters, Kelly Risenhoover, Robin Heyer and Angel Payne (Steve); and her grandchildren, Rachel, Thomas, Sarah, Tyler, Olivia and Chandler. She is also survived by five great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ocker-Putman Funeral Home - Alma (917 US-64, Alma, AR 72921). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Dyer Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to an animal shelter of your choice in memory of Myra.
