He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Mirus and Thelma Baker; and his siblings, Herman Ree and Wendy Mirus. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Darrell Mirus (Pam) of Mulberry, Angie Boerjan (Rodney) of Greenwood and Jay Mirus (Shannon) of Fayetteville; and his siblings, Lawrence Mirus (Phyllis) and Eloise Jackson. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ocker Funeral Home of Alma (917 US-64, Alma, AR 72921). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at the Pope Cemetery (8505 Pope Rd, Mulberry, AR 72947).
