She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Leopold Brauns and Louise Augusta Gadow Brauns; her husband Russell Buchanan; her children, Robin Buchanan and Brandon Buchanan; her granddaughter Kayla Buchanan; and her brother-in-law Les Goings.
She is survived by: her sons, Todd Buchanan (Beth) of Valders and Scott Buchanan (Ladonna) of Alpena, Arkansas; her granddaughter Kristen Newberg; her great grandchildren, Reese Newberg, Aiden Newberg, Greta Newberg, Jace Buchanan, Luna Buchanan and Brandon Buchanan; and her sister Jo Goings of Colorado. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
