He was predeceased by: his parents, Page Alan and Estelle Rinkle Palmer; his wife Martha Marie Palmer; his brothers, Clyde and Pat Palmer; and his grandson Todd Alan Palmer.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Forest (Teresa) of Amity, Bruce Rowland (Joy) of Arkadelphia, Jimmy Palmer of Amity, Randy Palmer (Mona) of Alpine, Dwight "Fred" Palmer (Machelle) of Alpine, Wanda Jones (Jimmy) of Glenwood and Debbie Lambert (Stevie) of Amity; and his siblings, Ed Palmer of Glenwood, Faye Davis of Amity, Thelma Lee Sexton (Wayne) of Texas and Jean Moncrief (Marty) of McGhee, Arkansas. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
