She was predeceased by: her parents, Lon Steidley and Pearl Finchum Steidley; her husband Thurman Franklin Chappell; and her siblings, Juanita Parker, Infant Steidley, Oneta Payne, Mary Hannon, Wanda Rash, Joyce Harvey, Virgil Steidley, Theodore Steidley, Gene Steidley and Roy Steidley.

She is survived by: her children, Thurman Chappell Jr., Robert Chappell, Delores Kelley and Debra Bogy; and her brother Doug Steidley. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Robinson & Fuller White Hall Chapel (8302 Dollarway Rd, White Hall, AR 71602). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
