She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Reed and Cora Robinson Reed; her husband Melvin Brown; her daughter Nina Jean Ballenger; her siblings, Jacky McCormick, Marry Warren, Ed McCormick and Lena Nunnelee; and her son-in-law Carl Wayne Ballenger.
She is survived by: her brother Tom McCromick (Anita) of Altus; her grandson Buckley Ballenger (Melissa); her great grandchildren, Phillip Ballenger of Port Barre and Presley Raney of Bethany, Oklahoma; and her great great grandchild Ezra Ballenger of Port Barre.
