It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald E. Loyd (Amity, Arkansas), who passed away on January 22, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Edward and Pearl Loyd; and his sister Helen. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Hays Loyd; his sister Virginia Woodson; his children, Lynna McWilliams (Gary), Paul Loyd (Andrea) and Jerry Loyd (Tonya); his grandchildren, Allie Loyd, Katie Beth Felton (Hank), Annie Simmons (Josiah), Andrew Loyd (Autumn), Bonnie Allen (Cameron), Ellie Jerzak (Bryce) and Mandi Loyd; and his great grandchildren, Vivian and Maverick Felton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Gideons International in memory of Gerald.
