He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Russell and Nellie Edith Wilder (Newton); his stepparents, Johnny Spencer and Irene Wilder; his grandsons, Colby Wilder and Pierson James "P. J." Geurin; and his siblings, Shirley Anderson, Glen Dale Wilder and Stevie Spencer.
He is survived by: his wife April Wilder of Amity; his children, Melanie Wilder (Charles), Loretta Wilder, Rusty Wilder (Erica), Sammie Geurin (Drew) and Spencer Wilder (Abbey); his grandchildren, Tenisha Wilder, Hadley Wilder and Madi Grace Wilder; his great grandchildren, Ah'manii Wilder and Zayden Wilder; and his brother Jack Spencer (Sondra). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Smith Family Funeral Home-Glenwood Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
