He is survived by: his mother Lauretta Tate of Gum Springs, Arkansas; his wife Mammie Cummings; his children, Onyette Cummings of Arkadelphia, Kelsey (Kevius Mitchum), Evelyn (Ivan Ruiz) and Kirby Whitmore (Randle Whitmore); his siblings, Jackie (Patricia Tate), Vicki Vaughn of Plano, TX, Frenchie Gillette of Memphis, TN, Mark (Alejandra Gillette) and Frederick (Bianca Gillette); his father-in-law Alfred Smith of Arkadelphia; and his friends, Chris Hunter, Tommy Hall, Rupert Wilson and Bennie Washington. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM and from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Williams Funeral Home (1517 Caddo St, Arkadelphia, AR 71923). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Ruth Baptist Church (415 Jones St, Arkadelphia, AR 71923).
