He was predeceased by: his parents, John Floyd and Dorothy Byford Cole, Jr.; and his daughter Terry Lee Gillaspie. He is survived by: his wife Patricia K. Cole of Arkadelphia; his son John L. Cole, Jr. (Marion) of Dupont, WA; and his siblings, Frank Cole (Susan) of West Memphis and Nancy Woodell (Dickie) of West Memphis. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
