She was predeceased by: her mother Isabella Kapus; her husband Billy Benson, Sr.; her son Billy Benson, Jr.; her granddaughter Sara Blassingame; and her siblings, Arthur Baca, Teresa and Shirley Ann.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Benson (Brenda) of Arkadelphia, Jonathan Benson (Chandler) of Little Elm, TX, Peggy Pulles (Jack) of Hanover, PA and Angela Benson Gober (Hoye) of Beirne; and her siblings, Delores Dayhoff of Denver, CO and John Herrera of Santa Fe, NM. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, forty-three great-grandchildren and twelve great-great-grandchildren.
