It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nina McDaniel Phillips (Arkadelphia, Arkansas), born in Texarkana, Arkansas, who passed away on July 23, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Jess; her daughter Leisa Phillips Marshall; her siblings, Inez Staley, Harold McDaniel, Walter McDaniel and Dale McDaniel; and her parents, Walter McDaniel and Maydell McDaniel.

She is survived by : her daughter Tina Phillips (San Francisco); and her grandson Clark Marshall (Little Rock).

Donations in her memory can be made to First Baptist Church (Arkadelphia) or to St Jude's Children Hospital .
